Sedentary work, Hybrid work
Both sedentary work and hybrid work are forms of work that involve significant time spent in a sedentary position with little physical activity. This prolonged sitting can have a number of negative effects on health, such as neck pain, back pain, joint stiffness, circulation problems, headaches, stress and anxiety. Massage can be an effective tool to alleviate the negative effects of both sedentary and hybrid work.
What does massage help with?
- Muscle relaxation: massage relaxes tight muscles and relieves pain.
- Improves circulation: massage stimulates blood circulation, which improves the supply of nutrients and oxygen to muscles and other tissues.
- Increases mobility: massage can help improve joint range of motion and flexibility.
- Reduces stress: massage can help you relax and reduce stress and anxiety.
In addition to massage, exercise is important in preventing and alleviating the negative effects of both sedentary work and hybrid living. Try to get up and move around at least every hour. Make time for stretching exercises and other light exercise throughout the day, which I can also help with.
